Subject: Theft of cattle by Police officers and SPOs

Sir,
My father Kartam Mukka (son of Kartam Ganga), age 70, is a resident of the village Gorka(Panchayat Kottachuru), police station Bhejji, Development block Konta, district Dantewada. At approximately 10 am on 20th November, 2008, he had taken his cattle for grazing near Injaram Bhejji Road. Just around that time, several police officers and SPOs came and apprehended my father and beat him unconscious. After gaining consciousness, he realized that one of his goats was missing, and he believes that it is the said police officers and SPOs who had stolen it. Through this letter, I wish to file an FIR against the said police officers and SPOs for attacking my father and for stealing his goat worth Rs 3000, and I request that proper action be taken against the accused.

I also request that, along with a proper judicial enquiry, the accused should be asked to pay back the price of the goat.
